Night fell and Ofego had no place to sleep. He found his way into the under of a bridge and decided to lodge there for the night. He settled on a spot; Eh-hen, make i settle down here for the night. Tomorrow i go find my square root go back home. As he finished the speech a hot slap was airlifted on his left cheek. He felt the hotness so much that he almost collapsed. Na my house you wan settle down for the night without house rent? A horrible voice inquired. The man with the voice appeared. He was huge. So huge that he could consume a bag of rice just for lunch. Ofego looked him in the head battling to recover from the slap he just received from him and shivering. Yes, no, sorry sir, na sleep of tongue, i feel say na my house be this. Ofego managed to explain. You feel say na your house be this? The one wey your rat build abi na who? The man asked. Yes, no, mistake. Ofego shivered. The man tore him another slap; Shut up and stay one place or i go remix you go meet your forefathers for the other side of life. Ofego cried; Honourable, abeg no vex, na just place wey i go lay my head i dey find. Ofego dropped down on his kneels begging. The man who was putting on only boxer said; Okay, where your rent money? Rent money for under bridge again? No be government build am? Ofego asked, surprised. Which government? The man asked. Our government na? Ofego replied. Pay your rent money or vamooze komo here. The man said. Okay, i go pay. Ofego said. Ofego shaking and shivering dips his hand into his pocket, brought out money and gave it to him. Na five naira you dey give me? Wetin i wan use am do? The man asked. Use am for baba blue so that your voice go be like Micheal Jackson own. Ofego replied. You dey craze well well. Komo give me that wallet. He said snatching the wallet from Ofego. He searched and found only ten naira on it. Yeye boy, only ten naira you get for this wallet, na so you poor reach? He asked. Ofego replied; No be me poor, na the wallet. Since na only fifteen naira you see pay, na only your head go sleep, your body no go sleep. Put your head for that pillow case. He said. Ofego said thank you and did as he was told. Sleep well my latest tenant, tomorrow i dey come for my next house rent. He said, as he walked away. Okay Landlord. Ofego managed to reply, watching him walk away. As he got out of sight into the dark, Ofego closed his eyes and, sleep took good care of him. He woke up the next morning to find only his boxer on him. His suit and trouser were missing from his body. They were nowhere to be found. He searched and searched but could not find them and took to the streets in search of them. Watch Out for Episode Four.
