When I got through with my WASSCE (West African Senior School Certificate Exam) I took up a teaching job in a nursery school, and was given nursery two to teach. It was wonderful. When I say It was wonderful I mean the opposite. It was hell on earth. The children of nowadays are really getting out of hand. Could you imagine that a girl of not up to six years raised up her hand in class to ask me a question and I permitted her. She asked; Uncle, can my mum get pregnant? I asked her how old is her mum. She said; 46. I told her; Yes, she can! She asked; Can my sister get pregnant? I asked her, how old is her sister. She replied; 19. I said; Yes, she can! She asked; Can i get pregnant? I told her she is just 5 years old, so, she can't get pregnant. The 7 years old boy behind her, poked her and said; I told you, we have nothing to worry about!
