I was in a bus on a traffic jam in Lagos. The usual chant of ''Buy Gala, Buy Gala'' ''Your Sweet Banana here'' ''Cutlass, cutlass'' were in the air. And I was sitting close to the bus window o. A beggar then approached me; Bros abeg give me 1,000 Naira. I told him I don't have. He said; What of 500? I said I don't have. He said 400. I told him I don't have till he got to 10 Naira. He asked; Oya, just manage give me 10 Naira. Only 10 Naira o. I told him I don't have. He said; Na wa o. This is serious! Ordinary 10 Naira you don't have and you are dressed like this, sitting comfortably on this bus and even relaxing. Come on, get out of this bus and come and join me in begging, let's beg together.
