Every Girl Should Learn From This

I had been dating this particular girl for quite sometime now until recently she messed up, humiliated and gave me the disgrace of my life. She is an undergraduate in one of the public universities' in Nigeria studying mass comm. What transpired between us was that last month, she informed me that her birthday would be coming up this month, which is on the 7th, last sunday precisely. And she asked me what i would buy for her. I assured her that I would surprise her, not knowing that she had imagined the surprise would be huge and mouth-watering. Before the day of the birthday she had been calling me reminding me of the surprise I promised her o. No be small thing. And she bragged about it to her friends in the hostel about the surprise, me, her boyfriend had promised. See me see trouble. Fast forward to the birthday, september 7th, last sunday. Before the kick start of the birthday party which was slated for 4pm at her hostel, she had brandished my phone with calls and I kept assuring her I would be coming. She continued bragging to her friends about the surprise, which she was thinking perhaps, was a car. And she kept calling me, telling me that the party had started, what was holding me, I should hurry up and be there, I should not forget the surprise o. I told her I am on my way, that traffic was holding me. And I did not forget the surprise. When I got there, she was the one that opened the door for me. She hugged me with all smiles, gave me a kiss and then requested for the surprise. I smiled and brought out an Agege Bread from the nylon bag I was holding and gave it to her. She was shocked, but managed to collect it from me, and stared at it. Boiling with anger, she threw it at me and rained insults on me here and there. I quietly picked up the bread, dusted myself up and walked back to my car. Getting into the car, I shooked my head, tore the Agege Bread into two, brought out a car key and a ring, shook my head again, and drove off.
