I was opportuned to speak in a church conference for men on how to live in a loving relationship with their wives. I asked the men how many of them love their wife. I asked this cause I've noticed that Nigerian men hardly say I love you to their wife, my Dad inclusive. My mum told me that my Dad said I love you to her recently. I asked when, she said; 25 years ago, long before they got married. So, look at the point I am driving at. When I asked how many of the men loved their wife all the men raised up their hand. I then asked them when was the last time you told her you love her? Some said today, some yesterday, majority did not remember. I then told the men to take their phones and send the following text messages to their respective wives; I love you, sweetheart. After sending, I then told them to exchange their phones with each other so that they can read the other wife's reply to the love message. See some replies we got that day; Have you impregnated someone again? That was then, not now. You wan borrow money abi? What did you do again? I won’t forgive you this time. Meaning? Is that a new song? Am I dreaming? If you don’t tell me who this message is actually for, you will die today! You this man, I asked you to stop drinking. Please, who is this?
